Project Buyer (German languge)
The person holding this role will be responsible for Central processing of the procurement of shelving systems for the Sales Unit.
Main duties:
- Carrying out tenders and comparisons of offers, technically and commercially;
- Conducting price and award negotiations with the relevant suppliers;
- Active supplier management (selection and evaluation);
- Recognizing and demonstrating savings potential in project purchasing;
Exchange with Sales Unit from the DACH Region; - Qualify new suppliers in the area of warehouse equipment and implement them in the project business;
- Qualify new assembly companies (onboarding) and implement them in the project business;
In future establishing of local sources for Equipment and assembly of rackings.
Your profile:
- University degree in Business preferably with interests or experience in mechanical engineering
- Experience in the field of mechanical and plant engineering/intralogistics;
- Commercial vocational training with further training and at least 3 years of practical experience or comparable qualification;
- Sound business knowledge, such as experience in purchasing assemblies, production and drawing parts in the metal industry;
- Market and industry knowledge in the field of warehouse equipment for intralogistics;
- English, German - Fluent spoken and written;
- MS Office (Excel; Powerpoint)
