Cost Engineer (German language)

The person holding this role will be responsible for cost calculations related to the engineering department.

Main duties:

• Cost calculations of purchased parts with focus at forging / casting (mainly steel casting);
• Target costing for procurement;
• Quotation plausibility check;
• Negotiation support of our technical purchasing department.

Your profile:

• Mechanical engineering degree or comparable;
• Experience in cost analysis of industrial products;
• Sound knowledge of various manufacturing technologies and materials from several years of professional experience in the field of forging and casting;
• Supplementary: Simple laser-edge parts;
• Confident handling of construction drawings, part lists and work plans;
• English&German - Fluent spoken and written;
• MS Office (Excel; Powerpoint).
